AFG Arbonia Forster Holding AG worldwide production sites the production sites in Switzerland, Germany and the Czech Republic, new sites were built in 2003 in France, USA, Great Britain, Slovakia and China. Today AFG has 18 production sites and comprises 50 companies with representation in approximately 70 countries. It employs more than 6,200 workers. The fi nancial year 2008 is expected to see a turnover of around 1.6 billion Swiss franc. The two original AFG divisions have in the meantime been restructured into fi ve divisions. Tomorrow... AFG intends to carry on expanding. Beside the domestic markets in Switzerland and Germany which account for 70% of turnover (2007), AFG is working hard on new markets in USA, the new EU states, East- ern Europe, South East Asia and China. In 2008 AFG already employed some 1,500 workers in Eastern Europe. It is AFG’s goal to strengthen its domestic markets in Switzerland and Germany, and to rebalance the domestic markets and the new markets so they have a 50/50 share in turnover.
