For small to medium-size applications Paviro
offers a unique, high-quality Public Address and
EN54-certified Voice Evacuation System. Paviro
also delivers professional quality sound, thanks
to its premium 24-bit digital processor, superior
digital-to-analogue converters, and outstanding
Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR). Paviro’s highly
flexible, modular system architecture makes it
an attractive, complete system solution for
small- to medium-sized installations. As a sound

Paviro offers extreme flexibility usually found
in significantly more expensive systems thanks
to system-wide four-channel matrix architecture.
Up to four audio signals such as
announcements or playback music can
simultaneously be
distributed to
different
loudspeaker zones.
At the same time,
individual
announcements in
any zone do not
interrupt music in
the other zones. The
optional integration
of additional audio
systems via two of the
amplifier’s inputs reduces the total
number of required amplifiers, thus lowering the
total system cost as well as associated
operating costs.
“Basic” and “Expert” configuration modes
ensure ease of use and allow a convenient and
fast building of the complete system
architecture. The basic mode wizard provides a
step-by-step configuration guide, which makes
it possible to program a basic system within 30
minutes. The Expert mode provides almost
unlimited system design flexibility – perfect for
optimizing configurations in more complex and
challenging applications.
Equipped with the optional Dante network
interface module (OM-1), it is possible to create
a 16-channel Dante audio network between the
individual controllers. This not only improves
the size, the IP networking architecture allows
users to create network topologies for larger
areas via up to four decentralized controllers.
This also means less cabling using standard
Ethernet connections and components – a big
cost-saving factor in some applications.
At the maximum configuration level, the
Paviro system can address up to 984 zones with
a total of 164,000 watts of amplifying power in
one system, making the system suitable for
bigger installations in which a large number of
zones and loudspeakers are needed. It also
caters to existing installations whenever the
infrastructure of a building changes and
additional rooms have to be addressed. In
addition, the network configuration provides
redundant channels for safety purposes – in
case of an emergency these channels will
always work for evacuation signals, even if a
controller loses network communication.
In addition to its low initial investment and
operational costs, Paviro offers class leading
low power consumption. The combination of
dynamic source routing and intelligent amplifier
input switching reduces the number of
amplifiers required and therefore ensures a
lower initial investment. The use of latest highefficiency
class-D amplifiers, as well as
intelligent power-management hardware and
software, lead to the lowest possible number of
batteries needed at purchase. This also reduces
ongoing operational running costs. At the same
time, fewer batteries need to be replaced on a
regular basis – leading to a further reduction of
future maintenance costs.
