i. Phase 1 A.2 Assessment<br />
There will be continuous assessment consisting of tutorial assessment, integrated<br />
MEQs, practical, seminars and reports during the block.<br />
OSPE and IPA examinations will be at the end of each block and they will be<br />
externalized.<br />
j. Computation of the Block marks<br />
Continuous assessment (60% of the final mark) will be made up of:<br />
Tutorial assessment: 15%<br />
MEQ 45%<br />
Examination mark (40% of the final mark) will be made up of:<br />
IPA: 20%<br />
OSPE 20%<br />
k. Mark obtained Action<br />
50% Pass<br />
45 – 48%, with a sub minimum of 40% Fail. Qualifies for<br />
Supplementary Examination.<br />
