Maverick Marktpreis:

Maverick Marktpreis: Porsche Values by Peter Wen It’s no secret that air-cooled 911s have been gaining value in recent years. With the 993 (the last air-cooled generation) hogging the spotlight, you may have missed the meteoric rise of a particular group of 911 Carreras . . . Super Carreras, that is. The Super Carrera, or SC, was produced from ’78 to ’83, in the middle of the second-generation 911. 911 SCs, in this socalled impact-bumper generation, have enjoyed an incredible run up in value over the last five years. The SC coupes in particular have doubled in value across the board from fairconditioned daily drivers to show winners. Targas have also shown significant gains, with a range of about 55 to 65%. The SC Cabriolet, the first 911 convertible ever, reported a more modest gain, between 15 and 30%. A total of 57,890 SCs were produced. Excellence magazine’s Porsche Buyer’s Guide offered these price ranges: SC Coupe (‘78-‘83) - $20,000-$47,000 SC Targa (‘78-‘83) - $18,000-$43,000 SC Cabriolet (‘83) - $25,000-$45,000 $80,000 $60,000 Hagerty Valuation Tool: 1981 911 SC Coupe $33,500 average value $40,000 $20,000 $0 Sep 2006 May 2008 Jan 2010 Sep 2011 May 2013 Jan 2015 Sep 2016 1979 911 SC Coupe Sold for $52,000 + $2,600 buyer fee 125k miles Minerva Blue Metallic/Black 3.0L Flat-Six Type 915 5-speed manual Sun roof, Billy Boat muffler Numbers match Three owners 1982 911 SC Coupe Sold for $60,000 + $3,000 buyer fee 66k miles Chiffon White/Brown 3.0L Flat-Six Type 915 5-speed manual 1 family since new Factory sport seats 1983 911 SC Cabriolet Sold for $32,000 + $1,600 buyer fee 131k miles Grand Prix White/Black 3.0L Flat-Six Type 915 5-speed manual Engine rebuilt at 63k miles Factory sport seats Two owners (current owner for 32 yrs) 1983 911 SC Targa Sold for $38,250 + $1,900 buyer fee 46k miles Platinum Metallic/Brown 3.0L Flat-Six Type 915 5-speed manual 1 family since 2017 Top end engine rebuild 1982 911 SC Coupe Sold for $40,000 + $2,000 buyer fee Mileage Unknown Zinn Metallic/Black 3.0L Flat-Six Type 915 5-speed manual Repaint (original Grand Prix White) New sport seats 1983 911 SC Coupe Sold for $31,500 + $1,575 buyer fee 98k miles Black/Tan 3.0L Flat-Six Type 915 5-speed manual 14 September
