Whilst no guest will expect a gorgeous barman holding a tray of martinis on their<br />
arrival, if the weather turns up the heat best provide them with a refreshing drink<br />
before you start exchanging gifts.<br />
There’s nothing more classic than Buck’s Fizz, so why fix what’s not broken? It’s<br />
simply two parts champagne, one part orange juice. So when you switch to three<br />
parts champers, the young ones can sip on the leftover orange juice. Don’t forget<br />
the designated drivers. Just because they’re playing taxi, doesn’t mean they should<br />
miss out, so provide non-alcoholic options, such as flavoured sodas, that are<br />
equally delicious. Chin chin!<br />
10. PRESENTS FOR YOUR POOCH<br />
It won’t do to forget your four-legged friends.<br />
As cute as that elf outfit may look, your pet probably won’t<br />
enjoy wearing it, especially during these warmer months. Yes,<br />
they’ll look adorable, but let’s purchase something more practical<br />
instead. One of the nicest ideas we’ve heard is paying for your<br />
fluffy friend to have a dog walking session once a week for a few<br />
months. It’s the ideal gift from busy families who can’t always pop<br />
home at lunch time for a run around the park. Most dog walkers<br />
will let you book blocks of sessions in one go. That’s one way to<br />
keep them from digging up the flower garden!<br />
Although regardless of your generosity, we bet they’ll take<br />
more pleasure in chewing up the wrapping paper.<br />
