I am a local barrister serving the people of Bamford and
Norden and surrounding areas
Following my transfer from the Roll of Solicitors to the Bar after ten years in
the insurance industry, I understand the needs of litigants and am committed to
achieving the best possible outcomes for my clients.
I regularly conduct trials for Claimants and Defendants in the County Courts across
the UK and act for many of the country’s leading solicitors, public bodies and
insurers. I am a qualified Costs Lawyer and affiliate member of the Association of
Costs Lawyers and Mediator of the Civil Mediation Council.
In addition to my Civil work, I have a thriving Family practice and also
represent clients accused of offences in the Magistrates Court via the
Direct Access Scheme.
I deal in business and commercial matters including consumer contracts and debt.
I also undertake property work on behalf of landlords and tenants.

MC v DB (17/12/18)
The Claimant’s claim for personal injury and costs was dismissed
following the Defendant’s successful allegations of Low
Speed Impact.
R v DWT (21/11/17)
My client retained his driving licence following a plea of
exceptional hardship.
M v MCC (26/10/15)
The Claimant was reinstated to her post following allegations
of fraud after a successful Appeal.
