Woodland Stallion Station is an Equestrian Center located just minutes from the<br />
Sacramento Airport in Woodland, CA. Founded in 1983, the Station originally<br />
designed as a reproductive center has grown into a premier boarding, training, and<br />
show venue. Owner Keila Golden is a lifelong <strong>Arabian</strong> enthusiast currently showing<br />
in sport horse classes in AHA Region 3.<br />
WSS hosts multiple rated events including USEA <strong>Horse</strong> Trials, hunter/jumper and<br />
dressage shows, driving events, warmblood inspections, and numerous clinics and<br />
demonstrations throughout the year.<br />
Woodland Stallion Station is home to two trainers: USDF Silver Medalist Susan<br />
Garmier and USDF Bronze Medalist Amanda Jarose, who offer lessons and training<br />
in Dressage, Hunters, Jumpers, and Eventing. Both trainers have a warm,<br />
encouraging style and develop lasting friendships with their clients.<br />
WSS is developing a sport horse breeding program, utilizing the incomparable Grand<br />
Prix dressage stallion KB Omega Fahim++++// and the American Hanoverian<br />
studbook approved Al Khamsa <strong>Arabian</strong> mare DC Reata.<br />
Stallions enjoy box stalls with fans, lights, and automatic fly sprayers, with daily<br />
turnout in private, tree-lined paddocks. Larry Haas, who has been at WSS for 25<br />
years, oversees all collection and transport, as well as foaling out mares with the<br />
help of the FoalAlert system.<br />
With 101 gently rolling acres surrounded by the vineyards, olive, and almond<br />
orchards of rural Yolo County, our grounds are private, quiet, and uniquely<br />
beautiful, breathtaking views. Staff live onsite and are always eager to give tours!<br />
