She may not have been what I was looking<br />

Eventing Levels according to jump heights:<br />

Beginner Novice: Jump Height: 2'7" --Introductory level for green horses and riders who are well<br />

schooled and ready to test their skills at rated events<br />

Novice: Jump Height: 2'11” -- For horses and riders ready to move up from BN or starting in<br />

eventing with experience in related disciplines<br />

Training: Jump Height: 3'3” -- For horses and riders demonstrating a degree of confidence and<br />

proficiency<br />

Modified: Jump Height: 3'5” -- A bridge level to help prepare horses and riders for the higher<br />

demands of Preliminary<br />

Preliminary: Jump Height: 3'7" -- Requires significant proficiency in all three phases<br />

Intermediate: Jump Height: 3'9 -- A further test of a moderately high level<br />

Advanced: Jump Height: 3'11" -- the highest national level -- horses and riders are tested at an<br />

extremely high level of difficulty.<br />
