Golden Oaks Arabians & Warmbloods is a small breeding program nestled in the
foothills of Northern California. Denise Cossuto & Tamara Torti share a passion
for producing Arabian bred sport horses with the amateur owner in
mind. Coming from endurance & dressage backgrounds their vision is unique,
and the resulting foals have been even better than we had dreamed.
The foundation of the program is our mares. The Hanoverian approved
Arabian, Caraechstrodinair, is our cornerstone mare; she continually produces
foals that exceed our expectations. She is the only Arabian mare to receive a
"10" at a Hanoverian Inspection and produce a Top Foal at an Inspection. Her
offspring are just now making their way into the show ring with AHA National
and Regional Championships in SHIH, SHUS & Dressage. Her Champion offspring
include Excepchanel & Magicaul Powers with Landinair, French Rivi Aira GOA &
Wild Ivy GOA waiting in the wings.
Our Arabian-bred and Warmblood mares are selected for characteristics that
lend themselves to producing horses well suited for endurance &
dressage. Good minds and trainability are high on our list, along with correct
gaits that show the expression needed to be competitive at the open shows &
on the endurance trails. We always try to have young prospects for sale and
sometimes have riding horses or mares available.
