What was the most fun experience you had with<br />
your horse in <strong>2018</strong>?<br />
We earned her Legion of Honor! I'm so proud of her.<br />
What sport horse discipline would you like to try<br />
that you haven’t tried yet?<br />
I would like to try hunt seat equitation with her. I got a new<br />
saddle for Christmas and am eager to try out that division.<br />
What is your favorite thing to shop for at the tack<br />
shop?<br />
Fancy, sparkly browbands or treats for my horses. I can't get<br />
enough sparkle in my life and my horses are spoiled!<br />

What is your favorite movie with horses and/or<br />
favorite movie horse?<br />
Secretariat for the win! I love Big Red and all his legacy with<br />
all my horsey girl heart. He had such an inspirational story,<br />
he was a tank of a racehorse, and the movie really tugged at<br />
my heartstrings.<br />
Who is your current instructor or trainer and what is the most important thing you have learned from<br />
them?<br />
I don't have an instructor at the moment, but my amateur owner parents have a lot of experience working and showing, so<br />
we all help each other learn.<br />
What is your favorite competition (show, event, ride) and what makes it special?<br />
Regionals! I love going. The horse girl in me wants to see all the pretty horses but the competitor sees all the hours put in<br />
to every ride. I love watching everyone and learning from everything including my own riding mistakes that I reflect on at<br />
the end of the day. No one is perfect but I still try to learn as much as I can. Seeing all the appreciation for the <strong>Arabian</strong><br />
breed and passion for competition is what makes it special.<br />
What is your biggest challenge as a rider or competitor?<br />
My biggest challenge would be learning more how to think like a horse and how to communicate with an animal that can't<br />
use their words. It's tough, but it helps to have three very forgiving horses that are eager to learn.<br />
