There’s so many great events taking
place in the area over the next couple of
months, details of which you can find in the
community pages. With our wonderful front
cover this month it’s hard to avoid the fact
that Milnrow and Newhey Carnival is taking
place on Saturday 22nd June, so go to
page 52 to find out everything you need to
know. Another event not to be missed is the
Milnrow Yoga and Wellbeing Festival 2019
which will take place at Milnrow Park on
Sunday 21st July. Full details of this event
and also details of a local Pilates instructor
can be found on pages 42 and 43.

another fascinating article from local
historian, Gary Heywood-Everett on Clegg
