the Surf House Phuket the surf

Surf House gives you and your

test your skills on the flow rider.
The flow rider shoots a wide,
shallow sheet of water over an
inclined, padded base. Although
often referred to as surfing,
it’s a closer relative to wake
boarding in style and equipment.

almost anyone can try it.

PURE VEGAN HEAVEN
Adhering to veganism where you don’t
consume nor use any foods or products
derived from animals can be challenging.
Luckily we have restaurants like Pure Vegan
Heaven that eases that challenge a bit.
Nestled among the Muay Thai camps,
tattoo shops, and barbecue joints
lining Soi Ta-ied, Pure Vegan is armed
with a well-rounded menu offering up
appetizers, options for every meal of the
day, and a long list of fresh juices and
other hot and cold creations.
Omnivores might be dissuaded by
the vegan concept assuming that the
food is not as hearty or flavourful but
alas, here’s a little eatery that busts those
myths. The portions are oversized, prices
quite reasonable, and the flavours are
rich and super healthy.
The smoky bbq bowl can be
vouched for and is loaded with
roasted sweet potatoes, bbq jackfruit,
lettuce, pico de gallo, probiotic kimchi,
crispy shallots, and topped with a
raw turmeric chia dressing. A perfect
complement is the Ayurveda turmeric
latte which is even better than it
sounds. You won’t miss the meat.

BREATH-TAKING PHROMTHEP CAPE
Despite the fact that several breath-taking viewpoints can be
found on Phuket, many would consider Phromthep Cape the
crowning jewel.
Situated at the very southern tip of the island, Phromthep
Cape is a vividly picturesque vantage point that looks down along
a rocky peninsula, which points out across the blue expanse of the
Andaman Sea. A nearby island has a small Buddhist temple empty
except for a few monks who reside there. The outlines of islands
far offshore are visible on clear days.
The viewpoint itself dominated the hilltop with a shrine
dedicated to elephants and a small lighthouse that houses a
maritime museum. Don’t expect to get this gem all to yourself
as it is a planned stop on just about every tour itinerary. There
are a variety of shops peddling the usual souvenirs and a hillside
restaurant whose food and prices are both pretty good.
