Clarksville is a LIVE LOCAL community and proud to
promote and support small business.
Downtown Clarksville has become the place to be
on Saturday mornings during the summer and fall
months. Our weekly open-air market features local
farmers and artisans who offer locally-grown fresh
produce, homemade food items and handcrafted
products of all kinds.
Artwalk, held among a dozen local galleries and
businesses on the first Thursday of each month, is a
free, self-guided tour that offers visual art, live music
and engaging events in the heart of Clarksville. Join the
crowd of folks meandering from the Customs House
Museum to the Downtown Artists Co-Op and support
our fantastic local and regional artists.
Microbreweries, local-recipe pizzerias, sizzling steaks
and made-on-the-spot ice cream are just a few of the
local options you can enjoy.
Shoppers will find Clarksville-Montgomery County
dotted with retail from classic southern-style shops and
trendy boutiques to major department stores. Clarksville
is a regional shopping destination, with concentrations
on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. (Exit 4), Tiny Town Rd. (Exit 1)
and the Madison St. corridor from Exit 11 into downtown.

Our quaint downtown offers some of the city's best
restaurants, retail, entertainment and nightlife along
with some beautiful Italianate architecture that dates
from 1875-1899. Clarksville-Montgomery County is
truly a great place to call home.
