Sam Baker Duo
Sunday 9th February at
7.30pm. Tickets £17
Singer-songwriter Sam Baker is a truly extraordinary
musician. His shows are a celebration, where some of his
songs tell of everyday people who survive life’s daily
challenges, and others are stories of growing up in
a small Texas prairie town. In 1986 Sam sustained
multiple injuries from a bomb attack, including
the loss of some of his left hand. Despite
this, Sam went on to learn how to play an
upside-down guitar and write songs, and
before he knew it there were CDs, tours
and awards all under his belt. For
this concert Sam will be joined
by fellow musician Radoslav
Lorkovic (keyboard
and accordion).
