The Adult Panto -
Peter Panties
Saturday 22nd February at 7.30pm. Tickets £18
They’re back again! Oh yes they are! The Market Theatre Company returns
to corrupt another traditional pantomime classic beyond recognition. This
fearless company of three actors brings you an evening of corny jokes,
raunchy plots and blatant sexual
innuendo using a minimum of set, props
and costume. Prolong that all too short
seasonal spirit and get ready for an
evening of slick, fast-moving, farcical
fun and bawdy sexual innuendo (did we
mention the innuendo?) for adults only.
Worcester Concert Club presents
The Frith Piano Quartet (Hirer)
Sunday 23rd
February at 3pm
Tickets £17 (Students £5)
Benjamin Frith – piano, David Le Page
– violin, Robin Ireland – viola, Richard
Jenkinson – cello
The Frith Piano Quartet was formed in 2001 by
a group of like-minded musicians who wanted
to explore the wealth of wonderful music written for the piano quartet
medium. Over the years the quartet has performed the complete piano
quartets of Brahms, Dvorak, Faure, Mozart and also not so often performed
gems as Frank Bridge, Arthur Bliss and Richard Strauss. In today’s concert two
major works of Mozart and Brahms will be performed in addition to a lesser
known, but beautiful work by the 20th century Spanish composer Turina.
Singer-songwriter Julie July & guitarist-composer
Don Mac present a programme of live music
bringing together a variety of established
musicians and relatively unknown talented
artists for informal live performances.
Singer-songwriter Jon Bird performs with his
band JB’s Backwater Road Band with original
blues and folk-rock songs from his new album.
He brings with him sought-after drummer Ben Haynes, ‘slow-burn’ Kennedy
(bass), and one of the finest electric slide players in the Midlands, Quinn
Lam. Also joining is the artist Jinder as part of The Silver Age Tour. 2019 was a
banner year for Jinder, with his single Keep Me In Your Heart featuring in the
hit movie Fisherman’s Friends.
