Join <strong>The</strong> MakeShift Ensemble as they bring to life<br />
<strong>The</strong> New York Times award-winning children’s<br />
book <strong>The</strong> Curious Garden, all about one boy’s quest<br />
for a greener world... one garden at a time. While<br />
out exploring one day, Liam discovers a struggling<br />
garden and decides to take care <strong>of</strong> it. As time<br />
passes, the garden spreads throughout the dark,<br />
grey city, transforming it into a lush, green world. This is an enchanting tale<br />
with environmental themes, teaching us that our own care and determination<br />
can help change the world. Featuring original music, storytelling and puppetry,<br />
<strong>The</strong> Curious Garden is a planet-tending adventure in full bloom for all the family!<br />

Would you like to learn more?<br />
In this two-hour course come and have a go, starting with a tour <strong>of</strong> backstage<br />
and the lighting box. Get hands on rigging and focusing lights, have a go at<br />
operating the desk, learn what it’s like to stage manage a show and how to<br />
work on cans, and set up and test the sound and microphones!<br />
It’s not always about who wants to be in the spotlight; who’s behind the<br />
spotlight is just as important too!<br />
