FIRST 6 MONTHS<br />
Preparatory checklist for the first six months:<br />
The goal within the first six months is to provide guidance and<br />
feedback to the executive to ensure continued success and to<br />
make plans for his/her future within the organization.<br />
☐ The executive should engage in a leadership assessment<br />
process for developmental purposes and to identify areas of<br />
improvement. Follow up with coaching and/or an action<br />
plan if relevant.<br />
☐ Manager should schedule a formal feedback session with<br />
his/her executive.<br />
☐ Provide the executive with the resources, tools and time to<br />
successfully accomplish tasks in this phase.<br />
☐ Contact the executive to gain feedback on his/her experience<br />
after six months.<br />
