Customer Service Practitioner

Level 2 Apprenticeship

Course length: 15 months | Code: 3130

Entry requirements

• An apprenticeship vacancy in your chosen area.

• You will have an interview.

• You must pass an initial assessment in English

& maths.

About the course

This Level 2 apprenticeship will help you develop the

skills to provide excellent customer service which can

be applied to hundreds of job roles across various

sectors. Good customer service is key to the success

of any business or organisation and you learn how to

deliver the extra levels of service to make a client’s

experience better.

Duties will vary, but in most cases you’ll be making

sure that people are dealt with in a positive, reliable

and pleasant way. Whether that’s by offering advice

on products & services, handling enquiries or even

dealing with complaints professionally.

Your future

After your Apprenticeship, you could progress to the

Customer Service Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship or

full-time study at college. Alternatively, you can use

the skills and experience you have gained to progress

further in your career.

Customer Service Specialist

Level 3 Apprenticeship

Course length: 18 months | Code: 3135

Entry requirements

• An apprenticeship vacancy in your chosen area.

• These will be set by your employer, but typically

include 4 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, plus a

grade 3 (D) or above in English & maths.

• You will have an interview.

• You must pass an initial assessment in English

& maths.

• Experience in a customer service role will be

beneficial.

About the course

As an Advanced Apprentice, you are likely to be given

more responsibility in the workplace. In most cases

you’ll be engaging with customers, making sure they

are dealt with in a positive, reliable and pleasant

way. This could be by offering advice on products

and services, handling enquiries or even dealing with

complaints professionally. During the Apprenticeship,

you will develop the skills to provide excellent

customer service which can be applied to hundreds

of job roles across different sectors.

Your future

After your apprenticeship, you may be able to study

a course at college or university, such as a Higher

Apprenticeship. Alternatively, you can use the skills

and experience you have gained to progress further

in your career.
