NACRA Awards<br />

<strong>The</strong> 2019 National Annual Corporate Report Awards (NACRA 2019)<br />
continues to recognise and reward excellent corporate reporting in<br />
Malaysia. Tropicana was awarded <strong>The</strong> Certificate of Merit this year<br />
in recognition of the company’s annual report having qualified for the final of<br />
NACRA 2019. <strong>The</strong> theme “Towards Accountability & Excellence” underscores<br />
the vital role that annual reports play in propagating transparency and enhancing<br />
the integrity of capital markets.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Edge<br />
Rat Race<br />

Tropicana have been an active<br />
supporter of <strong>The</strong> Edge KL Rat<br />
Race since 2004. This charity run<br />
has been an annual affair which Tropicana<br />
looks forward in participating each year. It’s<br />
a time to encourage a sense of camaraderie<br />
and group effort amongst the team members<br />
by having fun, getting healthy and boosting<br />
morale, a practice which Tropicana have<br />
been committed to for years. This year is no<br />
different as corporate participants gathered<br />
at Perdana Botanical Garden, (Lake Garden<br />
Kuala Lumpur) in support of this fund<br />
raising charity. A large turnout including<br />
supporters were seen cheering and supporting<br />
their respective teams towards the finishing<br />
line. This annual run raised RM1,397,999<br />
this year, much of which will be disbursed<br />
through <strong>The</strong> Edge Education Foundation<br />
to 20 selected beneficiaries including<br />
Cancer Research Malaysia, Kiwanis Down<br />
Syndrome Foundation, Childline Foundation<br />
and Assisi Palliative Care Bhd.<br />
