Broad and balanced...<br />
Y4<br />
Class 4 have been working on their art<br />
skills. They have been experimenting<br />
with charcoal and are learning to show<br />
emotion through their art. The children<br />
will be working towards an exciting<br />
final piece of artwork for the end<br />
of term exhibition.<br />
Y5<br />
Year 5 enjoyed another transition morning<br />
at Hayle Academy which was focused<br />
on STEM. During the morning,<br />
the children worked with children from<br />
6 other primary schools where they<br />
engaged in activities based on Science,<br />
Technology, Engineering and Maths.<br />
They completed activities which included<br />
making solar powered cars, solving a<br />
maths murder mystery, exploring colour<br />
and explosions in science, experimenting<br />
with batik in textiles, and making<br />
trebuchets.
