The Age of Aquarius

The times they are a changing!”
The concept “dawning of the Age of
Aquarius” was initiated into pop culture, by the 5 th
Dimension’s song, from the Broadway hit “Hair”
(1967). “When the moon is in the Seventh House. And Jupiter aligns
with Mars. Then peace will guide the planets. And love will steer the
stars. This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.”
There is no definitive answer for what the Age of Aquarius really
means. Many people believe, as stated in the Bible, this is the “coming
of the end of times,” others believe it’s a “new world order”, while
astrologers and astronomers disagree on all their different theories
and dates.
However, its relevance is strictly in how these changes will impact
our planet’s future. Similar to the way people are under the influence
of one of 12 Zodiac signs that change every month.
The Age of Aquarius is one of 12 successive 2,150-year periods - each
of which corresponds with one of the Zodiac signs that is based on
the Precession of Equinoxes. Astrologers and historians tend to believe
that these periods are under the influence of what the governing
Zodiac sign represents.
We exited the Piscean Age that was dominated by hierarchy and
power. People adopted a belief system and were told how to conduct
their lives accordingly.
Whether it was religion, a political ideology, a charismatic leader,
work, gender roles, etc., the secrets were hidden within the dominating
forces and the rest just followed the leaders blindly.
“This shift is bringing out the best and the worst in mankind,”
explains Elle’s astrologer. “While, some people are opening their minds
and hearts and embracing this ‘new age’, others are intimidated by the
changes that they don’t understand and want to return to a ‘golden
age’ in the past. They trust only those who are like themselves.”
Transformation is never a painless process. When you fast or cleanse

person on planet Earth is going through this radical shift.
