We all know what hairdressers do for a living: they cut, color, style and treat hair. They<br />

make us look better and feel good about ourselves. Sometimes they combine make-up<br />

services and manicures, or bundle their services into bridal packages. Then there are the<br />

celebrity artists who are hairdressers to the stars, wowing us and making us dream when<br />

we see the results on Hollywood's red carpets. But all of this pales when we see what the<br />

most ambitious and creative hairdressing artists are capable of creating for industry events<br />

and fashion week runways worldwide. They usually glean their inspiration from various<br />

sources: their travels and foreign cultures, photographs, paintings, sculpture, music, nature<br />

and even the past and the future. Hair, make-up, wardrobe, background, and lighting must<br />
