SIX DAMES: 2019-2020

Ana Kirby
Ana, d'origine portugaise, née en Afrique du Sud, vit maintenant au Royaume-
Uni, mais a fait de l'Ariège sa maison pendant huit ans.
L'aiguille, le fil et les créations qui lui sont liées ont toujours suscité de
l'intérêt et de l'engagement pour elle, mais ce n'est qu'au cours des
12 dernières années qu'elle a concentré son intérêt pour la forme de
courtepointe / art textile.
Elle a pleinement apprécié les défis présentés, les apprentissages acquis et
l'amitié qui s'est développée grâce à son appartenance au groupe Six Dames.
Ana appartient également au groupe CQ West
Ana, of Portuguese origin, born in South Africa, now lives in the United
Kingdom, but made the Ariège her home for eight years.
Needle, thread and related creations have always been of interest and
engagement to her but it has only been in the last 12 years that she has
focussed her interest in the quilting / textile art form.
She has thoroughly enjoyed the challenges presented, the learning acquired
and the friendship that has developed as a result of being part of the Six
Dames group.
Ana also belongs to the Contemporary Quilters West group.
