Tulipe : Il y a beaucoup d’expressions impliquant des fleurs,
mais j’en voulais spécifiques aux tulipes, en français et en
anglais. Je les ai appliquées sur un fond de « strip piecing ». La
tulipe est composée de plusieurs couches d’organza pour
illustrer sa fragilité.
Tulip: Standing out from the crowd. ‘One in a million’; ‘Odd
man out’, and many other expressions involving flowers. I
researched those specific to tulips and appliquéd them onto a
strip pieced background. The tulip has many layers of organza
to give the impression of fragility.

Je promène souvent avec mon chien au bord de la rivière
près de l'endroit où j'habite. Je prends beaucoup de photos
de la scène changeante à différentes saisons, à différentes
heures de la journée et selon les conditions
météorologiques. J'ai eu plein de photos de fleurs blanches
et puis les coquelicots sont sortis!
I often walk my dog by the river near where I live and take a
lot of photos of the changing scene in different seasons, at
various times of day and in different weather conditions. I
had lots of photos of white flowers and then the poppies
came out!
