Pour moi, l'accent a toujours été mis sur les pavés
hexagonaux que j'ai recréés en linogravure puis imprimés
sur un tissu en organdi noir vif. Chaque bloc a été
soigneusement plié et cousu et peut être transformé en de
nombreuses formes différentes.
For me the focus was always on the hexagonal pavement
tiles which I recreated as a lino print onto crisp black
organdie fabric. Each block was carefully folded and stitched
into a flexible ‘pavement’ which can be transformed into
many different shapes.

‘Les Ombres’ Au premier regard sur la photo de Claire j'ai
retenu les silhouettes. Celles-ci ont été brodées sur
hydrosoluble et organza avec armature tout autour pour de
relief.
Le fond: papier de soie peint avec acrylique et puis passé à
la cire, ensuite j'ai brodé les hexagones.
‘The shadows’ At first sight I saw the silhouettes! These
have been embroidered on water-soluble stabiliser and
organza with stitching all around for added relief.
Background: tissue paper painted with acrylic, waxed then
embroidered the hexagons.
