1016 a Flemish historical tapestry fragment<br />
Probably 17th c, possibly from the story of Alexander the Great, woven in wools,<br />
depicting a group of three eastern leaders at the foot of a staircase, with two women<br />
to the side, soldiers hauling bundles and tents within the hills with a city in the<br />
background, repairs, embellishments, 69.5’’ H x 56.5’’ W, est:$1000/1500. Provenance:<br />
Property from the Estate of Frieda Marchesano, Pasadena, CA Condition: Fading and<br />
re-weaving in areas overall. Cut down. Top 18’’ have been reattached. Side borders<br />
reattached. Top border possibly replaced. With small scattered holes and areas of<br />
looseness to stitches. With replaced/re-woven strips to bottom. Lacking backing.<br />
1017 Continental Baroque style gilt bronze candelabrum<br />
Late 19th c, with acanthus-sheathed scrolled arms supporting eleven candlenozzles,<br />
over a spreading tripartite stem decorated with floral swags, foliate scrolls and with<br />
ecclesiastical portraits to base, on ball and claw feet, wired for electricity,<br />
43.25’’ H x 21.5’’ Dia., est:$2000/3000 Condition: Nicely cast. General marks, scratches<br />
and rubbing to surface overall. Possibly re-gilt. Gilding rubbed particularly to<br />
extremities. Wiring to outside of candlearms. One nozzle broken at socle, would<br />
benefit from repair. Wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician prior to use.<br />
1018 a sterling silver mounted glass stem service<br />
20th c, rims marked ‘’Sterling’’, comprising: 12 goblets (7’’ x 3.5’’), 6 wines (4’’ x 3.5’’),<br />
11 sherry (5.25’’ x 2.25’’), 12 cordials (3’’ x 2.5’’), bowls of faceted bell-form, decorated<br />
with foliate guilloche sterling bands, 41 pcs, , est:$800/1200. Provenance: Property<br />
from a Private Collector, Riverside, CA Condition: Good condition overall. Nicely<br />
made. Silver nicely chased. With typical general light marks and scratches overall.<br />

20th c, with underglazed blue crossed swords mark, comprising: 12 dinner plates<br />
(9.5’’), 12 dessert / salad plates (8.5’’), 12 bread plates (7’’), 12 soup bowls (9.25’’), 9<br />
cups (2.25’’ x 4.5 x 3.75’’), 12 saucers (6’’), 2 square serving bowls (3.5’’ x 9.25’’ x 9’’),<br />
2 covered footed serving dishes (7.5’’ x 13’’ x 10.25’’), 1 covered footed oval tureen<br />
(6.25’’ x 10.25’’ x 6’’), 1 circular covered footed serving dish (3.5’’ x 8’’), 1 large oval<br />
platter (19.25’’ x 13’’), 1 small oval platter (14’’ x 10’’), 2 oval serving dishes (9’’ x 6.25’’),<br />
monogrammed ‘’PMM’’, 79 pcs, est:$1000/2000. Provenance: Property from the<br />
Marjorie Bacon Trust, Montecito, CA Condition: Very good condition overall. Very<br />
light marks and scratches overall commensurate with age and use. Appears to have<br />
been used very little.<br />
1020 a Berlin KPM porcelain plaque noblewomen<br />
Late 19th/early 20th c, with scepter and ‘’KPM’’ marks and further marked ‘’H’’ and<br />
‘’X’’, depicting a pair of 17th c noblewomen in a verdant landscape, within a giltwood<br />
frame, the plaque, 9.25’’ H x 6.25’’ W, est:$1000/1200 Condition: Overall: 17.5’’ x 14.5’’.<br />
Good condition overall. Very nicely rendered. Colors rich and vibrant. Very light<br />
typical marks and scratches to surface. Some dirt accumulation around edges of<br />
plaque at aperture of frame. Frame in good overall condition with some light rubbing<br />
and small scattered losses to gilding.<br />
