1081 Vintage Louis Vuitton malle armoire steamer trunk<br />

Probably second quarter 20th c, the lock numbered ‘’047084’’, interior label number<br />

‘’262891’’ (?), leather with wood runners and metal hardware, the hinged top reversing<br />

to a quilted lining and opening to a split compartment, over a rectangular case,<br />

with leather handles to sides and a central door enclosing five graduated lined<br />

divided drawers, 36’’ H x 26.5’’ W x 20.5’’ D, est:$3000/5000. Provenance: Property of<br />

the Regents of the University of California, proceeds to benefit the UCLA campus<br />

Condition: Very good condition overall. With typical marks, scratches, rubbing and<br />

light wear commensurate with age and use. With a few scattered paint splotches and<br />

remnants of old ‘’Fragile’’ labels to case, as visible in catalogue photos. Darkening to<br />

brass hardware. Typical wear to leather side handles. Interior extremely clean. With<br />

only light dirt accumulation. Straps to top two drawers appear completely intact. Felt<br />

lining to lower drawers with light wear but good overall. Reverse of door possibly<br />

with leather replaced as a leather patch covers exterior lock plate. One key- key<br />

sticks in lock, may not work.<br />

1082 a Lady’s universal Geneve Chronograph uni-Compax<br />

Circa 1942, stainless case with a 14K white gold mesh band, the movement a Swiss<br />

17 jeweled unadjusted manual wind chronograph model #289, the face with gold<br />

numerals and hands with a blued seconds hand, and subsidiary chronograph dials<br />

with blued hands, the inside back of the stainless steel case damaskeened and<br />

marked “Universal Geneve SWISS <strong>22</strong>1091430293”, with a 14K white gold band, 25 mm<br />

case excluding crown; movement 10 Lignes (<strong>22</strong>.56 mm), 6’’ W x 0.25’’ D, est:$400/600.<br />

Provenance: Property from the Perkins Collection, Newhall, CA Condition: The watch<br />

in overall good working condition. All hands working including those on chronograph.<br />

The dials along with numerals in good condition. The case in overall good condition<br />

with normal surface scratches with some pry marks on the side of the case resulting<br />

from being opened over the past years.<br />

1083 a Gent’s Concord pocket watch, 14K yellow gold<br />

Mid-20th c, gentleman’s Concord pocket watch, 14K yellow gold Keystone watchcase<br />

#6193035, the dial with gold numerals and hands with a subsidiary seconds hand<br />

and dial, the movement a Swiss manual stem wind, stem set 17 jeweled unadjusted<br />

#178; 43 mm case excluding crown; movement-16 Lignes (36.09mm), est:$500/700.<br />

Provenance: Property from the Perkins Collection, Newhall, CA Condition: The watch<br />

in good working condition. The dial along with numerals in overall good condition.<br />

The case in overall good condition with the normal surface scratches for a watch of<br />

this age with some very light pry marks on case.<br />
