with eight grooves, case-hardened breech tang<br />

incorporating the back-sight, stepped bevelled lock fitted<br />

with bolt safety catch passing through from the opposite<br />

side and acting on the neck of the hammer, figured<br />

walnut full stock impressed with the mark ‘TS’ conjoined<br />

opposite the lock, the spine of the butt with a numbered<br />

pierced plate for the shoulder stock, regulation brass<br />

mounts comprising flush-fitted side-plate stamped ‘K.G.2’,<br />

trigger-guard stamped en suite with the stock, butt-cap,<br />

and fore-end cap, and with no provision for a ramrod,<br />

complete with numbered detachable butt stamped en<br />

suite with the stock and ‘K.G.2’, with its saddle bar with<br />

clip-on belt suspension, the tip impressed ‘I.C.9’, and<br />

remaining in very good condition throughout<br />
