with long central spike of diamond section, forwardleaning<br />

curved axe-blade with reinforced tip, formed with<br />

a rounded lug behind the blade at the top and bottom<br />

and pierced with two cross-shaped apertures, triangular<br />

rear fluke pierced with five circles, reinforced tip, and<br />

struck with a mark on one side, tapering socket, and a<br />

pair of straps, on a later wooden haft (the head cleaned)<br />

tip chipped), triangular rear spike pierced en suite and<br />

stamped with a mark on one side, tapering socket, and a<br />

pair of long straps, on a later wooden haft<br />
