When you’re navigating the chaos of
school, work, family and an overall full
plate, it’s sometimes easy to get caught
up in the fast pace of an ever-changing
schedule. Instead of letting life get you
down, try these ten tips to promote a
more positive outlook on life.
1) Exercise
In the words of everyone’s favorite
Harvard lawyer, Elle Woods, “Exercise
gives you endorphins. Endorphins
make you happy.” Although Elle
Woods might not be a credible source
for every life decision you make,
she was definitely right about this
one. Studies show distance runners
experience a “runner’s high,” or an
increase in endorphins that creates
a feeling of euphoria and positivity.
Don’t worry. You don’t need to become
a cross country runner to achieve this
feeling! A simple workout that raises
your heart rate and gets your blood
pumping will do the trick. It’s as easy
as heading over to Pinterest to find
some quick circuits.
