OUT WITH THE OLD
NATALIE VANDE LINDE
Spring, without fail, brings
the annual rush to toss aside
the rejected and unwanted
garments that have taken
over your closet. But why
does spring cleaning so rarely
impact our vanities and
bathroom counters, where it
counts the most? The makeup
products stored away in your
bathroom drawers need
replacing too, and it just
might be the perfect time to
rummage through them and
toss a few things. Just like
food, makeup has a shelf life,
and using a product after that
shelf life can lead to breakouts
or harmful bacteria on the
face. Keep these timelines in
mind when you’re looking
through your makeup drawer
this spring.
