When This Blows Over

They have just been tuned out, because it is sort of
like the boy who cried wolf one too many times.
Trump is a monster; Trump can’t be nominated;
Trump can’t be elected; Trump can’t succeed…and
after a while people think, “you know just go away.”
And I think that’s the attitude they have towards a
lot of those people.
I’m just thinking, maybe we can have a more
meritocratic elite – Where one went to school, or
what the letters are behind one’s name don’t matter
as much as the track record of the actual
performance. That would be welcome. There’s
always going to be a need; I just hope it’s not this
aristocratic East Coast-West Coast traditional
corporate media university elite.”
