Kia ora, welcome to The Lyttel Kiwi Gift Shop located in the quaint<br />
township of Lyttelton, less than 20 minutes from Cathedral Square.<br />
Supporting 35 small, local artists’ and crafters’ businesses, the<br />
Lyttel Kiwi Gift Shop is a collective of gorgeous hand-made and<br />
affordable giftware, which is displayed across six rooms in an<br />
historic gallery building on the main street of Lyttelton.<br />

for all ages<br />
With exhilarating, wind-powered blokarts, electric driftkarts and<br />
the hilarious human foosball, Velocity Karts has something for<br />
everyone. Blokarts are safe and easy for ages 8+, with tandem karts<br />
for those unable to go alone. Driftkarts will challenge the inner<br />
drifter in everyone ages 12+ (1.4m tall). It’s all sustainable, inclusive,<br />
accessible, fun.<br />

Orana Wildlife Park provides amazing opportunities for people to<br />
connect with wildlife. See New Zealand’s only gorillas, hand-feed<br />
majestic giraffe, meet mighty rhino up close, observe kiwi and<br />
encounter mischievous kea.<br />
Scheduled presentations mean visitors can enjoy the antics<br />
of painted dogs, cheetah, Tasmanian devils, friendly farmyard<br />
creatures, monkeys, meerkats and much more! Visitors can board<br />
the Safari Shuttle for a tour of the zoo or join a guided walkabout to<br />
explore the park.<br />
Orana is operated as a registered charity. Over 95 per cent of the<br />
income is generated through visitation and they separately raise<br />
100 per cent of funds for all developments, animal transfers and<br />
involvement in key conservation programmes.<br />
Park staff are proud to make genuine contributions to breed for<br />
release recovery programmes for threatened New Zealand native<br />
wildlife including kiwi, whio (blue duck), pāteke (brown teal),<br />
kākāriki karaka (orange-fronted parakeet), kōwaro (Canterbury<br />
mudfish) and Maud Island frog. By visiting the zoo, you are directly<br />
supporting their conservation work.<br />
