Count your blessings By taking time every day to focus on everything you have, rather than dwelling on the things you don’t, by appreciating your blessings and fostering an attitude of gratitude, is one of the easiest ways to improve your life. It improves our relationships. If we’re grateful, we have less aggression, less jealousy, are less self-centred and have more empathy. It makes us happier and positive ... which means we’re nicer to be around. Whether it’s friends, a romantic partner or work associates ... if we practise gratitude ourselves, and are grateful to others, our relationships improve. Just one more thing to add to our ‘grateful for’ list. It allows us to appreciate what we have. If we’re grateful for what we have, we become less materialistic. And no longer being obsessed with having more, makes us content. Which is mentally a really good place to be. Journal your gratitude and your goals.
