Thank you.I am writing to share with VV readers a filmreview written by our 12 year old grandson Rayon the latest Christopher Nolan film. Ray livesin Epsom but knows our village well - after all,his Dad grew up here!In addition to watching films, when he comesto visit. Ray particularly loves walks in the"horse field" (soon to be a housing estate),Common Wood and Kingswood,Beverly Wood Carter WalkRay's Review of Tenet (12A)Tenet is a weird andcomplicated story, so it'shard not to give anythingaway. It's your choicewhether you want to readthis review although I'vemade sure that everything Isay about the moviehappens, or is revealed, inthe first half an hour of the movie.My personal scores (out of 10): Depth: 9,Story: 7, Acting: 8, Graphics: 8, CGI: 9,Characters: 4-8, Comedy: 4, Viewerunderstanding: 4, Music: 8 - Overall: 8.5Tenet is a complicated story about somethingcalled "Inversion", a new kind of time travel inwhich people or objects can switch thedirection they flow in time. I would describe itsgenre as a mix of a classic spy movie like JamesBond, as well as science fiction with the sameunsettling vibe as Inception. I don't want togive anything away but when you watch itremember that there are many references tothe future (or the past) hidden almost out ofview in some scenes. As well as insane scenesthat leave you scratching your head for 5minutes, there are also car chases and fightsthat’ll give your brain a break.It's a great movie, but if you're looking for aquick movie to watch on a Monday night, don'teven think about the two and a half hour beastknown as Tenet.
