New Perio Anatomic Inserts for Full Mouth Periodontal Treatment
Since 1979, Mectron has actively and successfully developed and produced top-quality devices. In fact, the

new ultrasonic inserts – P15, P16R and P16L
– which are specically designed to perform
gentle and safe periodontal debridement.
Why use Mectron’s new ultrasonic inserts?
With its unique shape, the inserts allow for
optimal access into difficult-to-reach areas
and deep periodontal pockets – furcations,
root surfaces and concavities. The inserts are
gentle on soft tissue, which helps in tissue
preservation and tissue attachment formation.
Thanks to its oxygen delivery system, the
cavitation eect provides mechanical biolm
disruption, bacteria dispersion and periodontal
pocket detoxication.
Taking a closer look
P15: Universal curette for supra and
subgingival treatment. It is recommended
for deep periodontal pocket debridement
and provides easy access to canine and
anterior teeth, while replacing manual
curettes n° 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8.
P16R – P16L: Right (P16R) and left
(P16L) angled periodontal curettes for
subgingival concrements and biofilm
removal from furcations and deep pockets.
It is recommended for supra and subgingival
interproximal spaces and for ecient root
planing on molars and premolars. These
replaces manual curettes n° 11-12, 13-14,
15-16, 17-18.
