This is an exciting opportunity tobepart ofthe<br />
new Refugee Settlement Support Team, you<br />
will be working directly with Afghan refugees as<br />
they embark ontheir new life settling into anew<br />
country and community. We are seeking someone<br />
who is fluentinDari, Hazaragiorasimilar language<br />
(i.e. Farsi).This position is full time and is primarily<br />
concerned with providing direct settlement<br />
support to new refugee families arriving in<br />
<strong>Ashburton</strong>, as well as assisting staff with language<br />
and cultural information. Training and support will<br />
be provided for the chosen candidate. Itwould be<br />
apreference that the person holding this position<br />
liveinthe <strong>Ashburton</strong>District<br />
The ideal candidate will have the following key<br />
attributes:<br />
•FluentinDari/ Hazaragiorasimilar (language i.e.<br />

member<br />
