In recognition of the 62nd rebuilding ceremony of Ise<br />
Shrine a new museum was built. This traditional<br />
Japanese style gable roof structure is home to part<br />
of the main shrine building. This museum features a<br />
sequence of galleries leading to the main display. After<br />
several dimly lit spaces a luminous ceiling, simulating<br />
a natural skylight, inspires sunlight reflecting off the<br />
gilded detail.
