but you know that you got to push
in order to get the beautiful trophies
and medals. Usain Bolt probably feels
the same way when he is running.
I have felt like quitting before but I
motivated myself like in the bible, it
says David encouraged himself. After
losing a battle, it is important to keep on
keeping on,” Khathola. But he has learnt
that entrepreneurship is about taking
chances and risks.
Khathola encourages an aspiring
entrepreneur to: ‘’Keep focused; don’t
let the troubles of the world distract
you. Right now we have the covid-19
troubles, politics, the government
increasing taxes and tariffs and things
like crime. But at the end of the day,
if you are focused you will achieve
everything.”
In conclusion, Khathola shares
Matthew 6:33 as his favourite quote.
The scripture reads, “Seek ye first the
kingdom of God and His righteousness
and all these other things will be added
unto you.” MBW
KEY LESSONS LEARNT
• Start Small – not having enough funds should not stop you
from starting your dream business, start with the little you
have and grow the business.
• Customers are your biggest investors, take care of them and
treat each as if they are royalty and your business will grow
quickly.
• Aim to be the best at whatever you do and you will reap the
rewards.
• Focus on one thing at a time – while growing your business,
focus on it alone and grow it into a big business before you
can start looking into other businesses.
• Embrace failures – after experiencing big failures in your
business, do not give up, encourage yourself and look up to
the bigger goal.
• Keep focused and do not let all the trouble happening in the
world to distract you.
