EMMANUEL-
THOMAS
JAY EMMANUEL-THOMAS seemed set for stardom after rising
through the youth ranks at Arsenal and making his Gunners
debut in an FA Cup tie in February 2010.
However, he departed north London in 2011/12 with just four
first-team appearances to his name having spent time on loan
in the Championship at Blackpool, Doncaster and Cardiff City.
A spell at Ipswich Town preceded a move to Bristol City in 2013
and he shone for the Robins in the third tier, scoring 33 times in
103 games.
JET joined the R’s on a free transfer in June 2015 and bagged a
brace in a 4-3 win over Bolton Wanderers the following October.
That was as good as it got for the winger in W12, however, and
he left in 2018. Emmanuel-Thomas now plys his trade in the
Scottish Premiership with Aberdeen.
