U23S SNAP UP AJOSE
QPR Under-23s have completed the signing of
Joseph Ajose.
The 20-year-old winger has penned a one-year deal,
with a club option of a further 12 months.
Ajose, who left Reading last summer, has previously
spent time at Newcastle United and Port Vale.

QPR’S Championship fixtures with Fulham and
Nottingham Forest have been selected for live
coverage on Sky Sports.
Our clash with Fulham will still take place on Saturday
16th October at Craven Cottage but will now kick off
at the earlier time of 12:30pm.
The home clash with Forest will now take place on
Friday 29th October, kicking off at 7:45pm.

FORMER QPR goalkeeper
Edward ‘Ted’ Bennett
died on Thursday 2nd
September at the age
of 93.
Ted joined QPR in 1947
and made two first-team
appearances before
joining Southall in 1949.
He was later on the
books of Watford and
Gravesend and Northfleet
as well as playing 11
times for England at
amateur level. In 1952,
he represented Great
Britain at the Olympics in
a 5-3 extra-time defeat
to Luxembourg.
HOOPS FANS HIT THE ROAD
GERRY Poyntz, JC LaCour, Barry Kingsland, Peter
Jones and Sean Murphy - all proudly wearing
the Hoops - took on the infamous British Heart
Foundation London to Brighton Off Road Mountain
Bike Challenge on 5th September.
The challenge involved 61 miles of unrelenting
mountainous torture in aid of the BHF with the
group raising more than £2,500 to date.
