U23S SNAP UP AJOSE<br />

QPR Under-23s have completed the signing of<br />

Joseph Ajose.<br />

The 20-year-old winger has penned a one-year deal,<br />

with a club option of a further 12 months.<br />

Ajose, who left Reading last summer, has previously<br />

spent time at Newcastle United and Port Vale.<br />

TV TIMES<br />

QPR’S Championship fixtures with Fulham and<br />

Nottingham Forest have been selected for live<br />

coverage on Sky Sports.<br />

Our clash with Fulham will still take place on Saturday<br />

16th October at Craven Cottage but will now kick off<br />

at the earlier time of 12:30pm.<br />

The home clash with Forest will now take place on<br />

Friday 29th October, kicking off at 7:45pm.<br />

22.08.1925-23.08.2018<br />

FORMER QPR goalkeeper<br />

Edward ‘Ted’ Bennett<br />

died on Thursday 2nd<br />

September at the age<br />

of 93.<br />

Ted joined QPR in 1947<br />

and made two first-team<br />

appearances before<br />

joining Southall in 1949.<br />

He was later on the<br />

books of Watford and<br />

Gravesend and Northfleet<br />

as well as playing 11<br />

times for England at<br />

amateur level. In 1952,<br />

he represented Great<br />

Britain at the Olympics in<br />

a 5-3 extra-time defeat<br />

to Luxembourg.<br />

HOOPS FANS HIT THE ROAD<br />

GERRY Poyntz, JC LaCour, Barry Kingsland, Peter<br />

Jones and Sean Murphy - all proudly wearing<br />

the Hoops - took on the infamous British Heart<br />

Foundation London to Brighton Off Road Mountain<br />

Bike Challenge on 5th September.<br />

The challenge involved 61 miles of unrelenting<br />

mountainous torture in aid of the BHF with the<br />

group raising more than £2,500 to date.<br />
