To experience a day together in the Montafon mountains
with my Instagram followers has long been a major goal of
mine. What could be better than a ski touring try-out-day
with mountain guide Lukas on the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe.
So the idea was born and at the beginning of March, the time finally
came. Our day started in Partenen. Admittedly, I was a little nervous,
because I didn’t know exactly what to expect. For me, it’s always very
exciting to see who I’ve got in front of me. A step into the unknown.
You usually know a lot about me, but I know nothing about you.
But when I entered the ski rental I immediately realised: this will
be a wonderful day with lots of “Muntafu”, lots of laughs and hospitality.
The fitting and adjustment of the ski touring equipment provided
to each participant was already in full swing and was carried
out with lots of fun and energy by the team at Sport Stöckl. Touring
ski boot buckles clicked, bindings were adjusted, suitable skis were
selected, the probe, shovel and avalanche transceiver were stowed
away in backpacks – equipment and people were becoming one.
Excitement and joy were in the air. I introduced everyone to Lukas,
our mountain guide, and with bag and baggage we finally set off for
the Vermuntbahn. F
