Bonfires
in the Montafon
19. – 21. February 2021
The bonfire is one of the oldest
traditions in the valley. On the
first Sunday after Fasching
(Carnival), an artistically layered
wooden tower of up to 30 metres
in height is set alight after dusk.

it will be the Montafon Sura Kees, which

hike past the grazing meadows of the Montafon
Steinschaf (stone sheep), a very special
breed of animal.
