STEIGER ® T 295 A
T 295 A - T 900 HF ON THE WAY TO TEXAS
On the basis of the RUTHMANN STEGIER T 900 HF our engineers have developed the first RUTHMANN
STEIGER ® T 295 A for our customer Blade Platforms in the USA.
The 90 meter (295 feet) truckmounted
working platform is
known in Europe under the name
STEIGER ® T 900 HF und has already
been successfully used for spectacular
operations, among others
securing the Notre-Dame de Paris
Cathedral (pages 8 -9).
Now the T 295 A is also available
on the US market and rolls on a
15-meter long, 7-axle Kenworth T
880 chassis with the typical long
American hood.
All technical data of the
RUTHMANN STEIGER ® T 900 HF
could be adapted to the American
chassis and in addition the
STEIGER ® could be certified with
the ANSI A92.2 and CSA C225
standards relevant for the US market.
The DRS system optimising the
outreach is also available for the T
295 A and ensures the maximum
possible performance data in all
situations.
We wish Blade Platforms
much success with the
STEIGER ® T 295 A.
Together with the escort vehicle, the
RUTHMANN STEIGER ® T 295 A set off on
the approximately 10.000-kilometre journey
to Texas. In about 3 weeks, the ship will
leave Bremerhaven for Texas.
During the first tests of the RUTHMANN
STEIGER ® T 295 A on the premises of the
company Blade Platforms, the machine was
already able to impress before it set off the
next morning for its first operation on a
wind turbine.
