NEW ASSEMBLY CENTRE
RUTHMANN INVESTS IN A NEW
ASSEMBLY CENTRE IN GESCHER-HOCHMOOR
The new assembly centre is being built at the Ruthmann headquarters in Gescher-Hochmoor on an
area of around 4,200 m 2 , where the vehicles of the TB/TBR range as well as the T models of the 7.5 t
range will be produced in the future.
The former hall 2 from the seventies
had to make way for the new
building. During the construction
phase, the production steps previously
located there were reallocated
to other parts of the plant.
In the future, the new assembly
centre will offer the employees a
highly modern future-proof workplace
with best ergonomics and
space layout for greater efficiency.
A sophisticated logistics concept
contributes to this: From the material
provision on an electrically
driven tugger train with tractor
and transport trolley to the routing
and a well-thought-out transfer
area concept. A sustainable waste
disposal concept is as much a part
of the new assembly centre as fast
W-LAN communication.
In the first stage, 35 employees will
work in the new building. Ten additional
workplaces will initially be
created in order to meet the high
demand for our STEIGER ® and to
further reduce delivery times.
A time lapse of
the construction
of the new assembly
centre
In a further step, ten additional
workplaces will again be created
probably by the end of 2022.
