An 82-year-old man from
Gescher still remember the
stories about Ruthmann which
have been told over the last 120
years in Gescher - the following
is one of them.
In an inn in Gescher, „Jupp“ (Josef)
RUTHMANN was once asked what
he was doing in his company:
“Well, my brother Hubert is responsible
for sales.
This story “about the öllsten” was
probably retold in Low German by
the inhabitants from Gescher.
* For the younger ones, here is the explanation:
On Münsterland farms, the firstborn

“Sustainability in action” - With
this motto, we have received
the pictures of the RUTHMANN
STEIGER ® K 90 from Sven Schroers.
“At the beginning of 2014, you
kindly helped me with documents
about the K 90. Until today, the
“Hubsteiger” is regularly in use at
our farm. Only a few hydraulic lines
have been exchanged for safety.
Otherwise, the “Hubsteiger” built
in 1959 seems indestructible. This
