Medical centre options sought Ashburton District Council has been meeting with management from Methven Medical Centre to look at issues at the centre’s current site off Main Street. With Methven growing and with more clients on the books at the medical centre, the premises were becoming too small, council property manager Colin Windleborn told councillors last week. He said the size of the building was being looked, but the option for an extension was limited. Other parcels of land suitable for anew centre were also being eyed. Councillors would be kept up to date with any possible developments, as would the Methven Community Board, he said.
