Continuing Medical Education Credit<br />

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Minnesota Medical Association and the <strong>Society</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Thoracic</strong> <strong>Radiology</strong> (STR). The Minnesota Medical<br />

Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.<br />

The Minnesota Medical Association designates this activity for a maximum <strong>of</strong> 33.25 category 1 credits toward<br />

the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually<br />

spent in the activity.<br />

Disclosures<br />

The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education requires the Minnesota Medical Association, as an<br />

accredited provider <strong>of</strong> CME, to provide faculty disclosure information to all attendees prior to the beginning <strong>of</strong><br />

the CME activity. Faculty members are expected to disclose the existence <strong>of</strong> any significant financial or other<br />

relationship with the manufacturer(s) <strong>of</strong> any commercial product (s) discussed in an educational presentation.<br />

The requirement applies to relationships that are in place at the time <strong>of</strong> the presentation or in the 12 months<br />

preceding the meeting date. Faculty members are also required to disclose discussion <strong>of</strong> unlabeled use <strong>of</strong><br />

commercial products or investigational use not yet approved for any purpose. Disclosure information, including<br />

a list <strong>of</strong> faculty failing to provide disclosure information prior to the <strong>Society</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Thoracic</strong> <strong>Radiology</strong> Meeting,<br />

will be available onsite.<br />

Target Audience<br />

This meeting is designed for general diagnostic radiologists, thoracic radiologists, cardiac radiologists,<br />

pulmonologist, internists, family physicians, thoracic surgeons, and thoracic-oriented residents and fellows.<br />
