Notice for consultation onproposed Enrolment<br />
Scheme amendment for Villa Maria College<br />
The Ministry of Education has identified that Villa Maria College<br />
is likely to continue to experience asituation where there is more<br />
demand for enrolments than there are places available within<br />
the maximum roll and has given the school board notice of this.<br />
This is due to recently redrawn parish boundaries. Please note<br />
that there was previous consultation on aproposed enrolment<br />
scheme change for Villa Maria College in 2021. This current<br />
proposal includes information from the 2021 proposal as well as<br />
additional information taken from feedback during the previous<br />
consultation round.<br />
After engagement with the Board, we have developed another<br />
proposed enrolment scheme amendment for Villa Maria College<br />
under the Education and Training Act 2020.<br />
As part of this process, we are consulting with the school’s<br />
community and with people living in the area for which the<br />
school is areasonably convenient school.<br />
Students will be able to enrol as per the criteria listed in the<br />
proposed enrolment scheme.<br />
