Maddi wins silvers<br />
Waterski action aplenty<br />
Wanaka builder Gerald Harraway in action during the Nautique NZ Waterski Nationals held at Lake<br />
Hood last week. The championships featured scores of skiers from around the country, including<br />
astrong contingent from Mid Canterbury, competing in slalom, jump and trick events ranging in<br />
age from Under 10 through to Open age group.<br />

Maddi Lowry has won two<br />
medalsatthe <strong>2022</strong> Track<br />
Cycling National<br />
Championships in Cambridge.<br />
In her finalyear at <strong>Ashburton</strong><br />
College, the 17yearold won<br />
silvers in the team sprint and<br />
the 4km team pursuit.<br />
Competingaspart of the U19<br />
Canterbury women’s team,<br />
Maddi also competed in the<br />
500m time trial, 2000m<br />
Maddi Lowry with her two<br />
silver medals from the recent<br />
Track Cycling National<br />
